MixMatch ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our MixMatch mobile application and related services.

By using MixMatch, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Email address and password when you create an account
  • Flavor, drink, and milk preferences set during onboarding
  • Drinks you save to your favorites

Information collected automatically:

  • Drinks you generate using the AI
  • App usage data (which features you use)
  • Device type and operating system version

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account
  • Generate personalized AI drink recommendations
  • Save your favorite drinks and drink history
  • Improve AI recommendation quality
  • Process payments for MixMatch Pro subscriptions
  • Send app-related communications (not marketing without consent)

4. Third-Party Services

MixMatch uses the following third-party services:

Supabase
Database and authentication. Stores your account info and saved drinks.
Stripe
Payment processor for Pro subscriptions. We never store your card details.
AI Gateway
Powers AI drink generation. Drink prompts are sent to generate recommendations.
OpenAI
Generates drink images from drink names and descriptions.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.

Daily generate counts are stored locally on your device and never sent to our servers.

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your saved drinks and preferences

7. Children's Privacy

MixMatch is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top. Continued use of MixMatch after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
